American court sentenced 10 years prison to Avtandil Khurtsidze, a famous professional boxer named “White Mike Tyson”.

Khurtsidze was arrested in New York in June of 2017 and charged with being a member of the Russian criminal syndicate. Because of this arrest, the championship fight for WBO’s belt Billy Joe Sounders was abolished. Khurtsidze was threatened with up to 40 years of imprisonment. In June, 39-year-old Georgian boxer was found guilty of racketeering and criminal syndicate membership. At the end of August, Colombian criminals wounded him in prison.

After 2010, when Avtandil Khurtsidze lost with the decision of referee Hassan Nijikam, he had 10 victories in the professional field.
